4/5/24 First time mom Duni at Prague Zoo is such a great mother to her daughter Mobi (photo). Duni herself was raised by her own wonderful mom. Facebook
2/29/24 Heart disease all too often leads to the deaths of captive gorillas and other great apes, especially males. This was the cause of death for sweet Ernie. Zoos are actively trying to understand and treat this problem.

10/26/21 A tiny baby gorilla was born on this date in Cleveland. He survived due to excellent veterinary care and, just as importantly, due to his surrogate mother Fredrika. Such an amazing story.
